Clubbed to death
DASKA: A youth was clubbed to death in the area of Satra police on Saturday.
Adil quarreled with Sabir over a petty issue some days ago. On the day of the incident, Adil was on his way home when accused Sabir, Aziz and Fareed intercepted him and clubbed him to death. Satra police have registered a case against the accused persons.
CASH, VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Three dacoity incidents were reported here on Saturday.
Rasheed Ahmed was going to Motra village when two dacoits intercepted him and snatched Rs 40,000 and a cell phone. In another incident, Inam of Mohallah Muhammadpura parked his motorcycle outside his house. When he returned, he found it missing. Malik Tariq parked his van outside his house but accused Muzammil and Irfan allegedly stole it.
MAN BOOKED: Satra police on Saturday booked a man for giving shelter to a proclaimed offender. On a tip-off, the police raided to arrest proclaimed offender Safdar but accused Mudasar allegedly helped him to flee. The police have started investigation.
