Tribal youth receive skill training
LANDIKOTAL: The Fata Secretariat, in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), distributed certificates and toolkits among tribal youths on completion of a three-month skills training course on Wednesday. A ceremony in this connection was arranged in Peshawar which was attended by officials of Fata and UNDP in Pakistan.

LANDIKOTAL: The Fata Secretariat, in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), distributed certificates and toolkits among tribal youths on completion of a three-month skills training course on Wednesday.
A ceremony in this connection was arranged in Peshawar which was attended by officials of Fata and UNDP in Pakistan. Mian Aftab Ali Shah, manager skills development, and Waheedullah, Fata deputy director, were chief guests on the occasion.
The speakers asked the training participants to utilise the skills for the improvement of livelihood in Fata. Mian Aftab said on the special directives of governor, they increased seats for the deserving youth. He said every year 10,000 persons would participate in the scheduled training course. The purpose of training was to promote skills among the youth so that they could earn money for their families in the country or abroad. A total of 75 tribesmen from Tirah Maidan and Bazaar Zakhakhel area of Khyber Agency completed the training course.
