Govt to execute water test of schools

LAHORE
The district administration has decided to conduct water tests of all the government schools of the provincial metropolis.
The decision was taken by the DCO Lahore at a meeting on Wednesday.
He directed the EDO health to execute the plan. The DCO said water connections and all taps in the government schools would be tested. The DCO further directed that water tests of all the public schools would be conducted through a third party. He stated that it had been decided that two water samples, one from school tap and other from tube-well source, would be collected for tests. The DCO has also passed on instruction to EDOs of Finance and Education who would arrange a private party for the water test and provide comprehensive details of primary, secondary and high schools of the city.
