Elections 2013 were not impartial, says PML-Q
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior central leader Pervaiz Elahi have said that 2013 general elections were not impartial and this was the reason all parties had given them the name of "RO's election."
The Pakistan Muslim League-Q central leaders said the caretaker prime minister and chief ministers should be non-controversial personalities, and all parties should have trust in them, otherwise, questions will be raised on the 2018 elections too. For holding transparent, impartial and fair elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan should take all parties into confidence before the general elections, they said during a meeting with Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Majilis Wahdatul Musalmeen Deputy Secretary Information Nasir Abbas Sherazi who called on them at their residence here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views with each other regarding political and electoral situation in the country.
