ISLAMABAD: Essco and Junoon Cricket Clubs were declared joint winners of the Islamabad Cricket Association Championship 2018 when the final was washed out.
Essco Club reached the final by defeating Warriors Club and Junoon Club beat Punjab Club in the semi-final.
Junoon’s Shahid Ilyas was adjudged the best batsman of the championship with 488 runs. He played fine knocks of 219 not out, 110, 75, 46 and 38 not out in the tournament.
Munirur Rehman Tanzil and young Umer Hameed of Junoon shared the best bowler’s honours with 16 wickets each.
