LAHORE
A 14-member media delegation of Afghanistan Saturday arrived on a 4-day visit to Lahore on the invitation of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists.
The Afghan media team called on Director General Public Relations (Punjab) Athar Ali Khan in his office. Dr. Nasir Jameeli and Izhar Khushhal Afghani are leading the delegation.
They appreciated the hospitality extended to them during their visit to Pakistan particularly Lahore. PFUJ president Rana Muhammad Azeem was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Athar termed the exchange of delegations of journalists as a good omen. He also informed Afghani journalists about public welfare steps taken by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif .
Funeral
The funeral of Yawar Hanif Mian will be held at Jam-e-Shirin Park, Gulberg, between Centre Point and Firdous Market, at 11am on Sunday (today).
