Seminar held to discuss journey of entrepreneurship

LAHORE: The TiE Lahore Chapter hosted another Talk “The Clans We Lead” with Dr Amjad Saqib – CEO of Akhuwat, at NIC Lahore, LUMS.

Tie Lahore Chapter started in 2002 with efforts of Syed Babar Ali and has slowly and gradually come to a point where it has some of the best mentors to guide and facilitate the growth process of entrepreneurs, says a press release on Thursday.

TiE Lahore aims to foster entrepreneurship through various programmes such as TiE Talks, TiE Workshops, TiE Crazy and Mentor Galore, providing opportunities to network and get mentored and educated by some of the best professionals and leaders in the country.

“The Clans We Lead” was an interactive session where Dr Amjad Saqib talked about the journey of Akhuwat, entrepreneurship & social entrepreneurship, the struggles faced by entrepreneurs on the journey of success and how they can overcome such issues. The audience including entrepreneurs, startup founders, professionals and students were completely involved in the talk and discussed the issues and limitations they face in becoming an entrepreneur.

Just like other TiE Lahore’s events and programmes, this talk was also followed by a networking session, where tea was served and the audience got to meet others from various fields and backgrounds. Various startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs also met Dr Amjad Saqib and Faisal Sherjan (Director of NIC Lahore and the moderator for the talk) to discuss their ideas and take guidance from the leaders.

The audience really encouraged and appreciated the team for putting up such events providing some amazing opportunities to every knowledge seeker out there.
