ICC Elite Panel umpire Aleem Dar honoured

LAHORE: P&T Gymkhana, on Saturday, honoured its former cricketer and International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite Panel Umpire Aleem Dar for his achievements at the world level.

Former Pakistan manager Azhar Zaidi hosted the reception being the head of the club where Dar played during his playing career. The reception was graced by former PCB chairman Khalid Mahmood, Test cricketer Abdul Razzaq, Imran Nazir, Amer Nazir, Manzoor Elahi, Saleem Elahi, Ashraf Ali, Zahoor Elahi, National Cricket Academy GM Ali Zia, Shahid Aslam, Zulfiqar Sheikh, Kamran Sabir, Aziz Malik, Ahsan Raza, Saboor Ahmed and cricketers of the club. Everyone praised Dar for what he has achieved in his career by officiating 350 international matches. It was an evening held at the LCCA ground participated by current and former members of the club who honoured Dar for not only making name in the world but also bring good name to his club.
