LNG confusion

The inability of the minister concerned to clarify the confusion surrounding the import of LNG is fuelling great uncertainty. The minister keeps contradicting his own statements regarding the supply sources, timings, pricing, etc, of the imported LNG.
One cannot understand why can the minister not tell us if the agreement with a Qatari company has been signed or not? It surprises everyone that the minister while supporting a long-term contract also says that more agreements will be signed and the sources of LNG supplies are wide open and nothing is final. Nawaz Sharif should intervene and clear the fog surrounding the deal and seek answers from the authorities concerned as to why have they failed to get the job done on time?
