Nawaz asks Abbasi not to impose new taxes

ISLAMABAD: PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday directed Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to not impose any new taxes in the upcoming budget and provide relief to the people.
During a meeting held here, the two leaders exchanged views on overall political situation of the country, party affairs, next budget and the caretaker government, Geo News reported.
Nawaz directed Abbasi that the next budget should be people-friendly and in accordance with the people’s wishes. Abbasi assured Nawaz of not imposing any new taxes in the next budget.
