Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade II

ISLAMABAD: Karachi Blues and Multan reached final of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade II following their victories in the semi-finals on Monday.

Multan got better of Hyderabad by seven wickets at the Multan Stadium while Karachi chalked up ten wickets win over Abbottabad at the National Stadium in Karachi.Imran Rafiq (54) and Waqar Hussain (38) helped Multan hit up 173 winning target for the loss of three wickets. Sohaib Maqsood (30 not out) also played well for Multan.

Scores in brief: At Multan Stadium, Multan: Hyderabad Region 117 all out in 48.1 overs (Shoaib Laghari 38, Saad Khan 27; Amir Yamin 3-10, Ahsan Baig 3-22, Zulfiqar Babar 2-49) and 172 all out in 50.2 overs (Lal Kumar 36, Shoaib Laghari 36; Amir Yamin 5-38, Ahsan Baig 2-61). Multan Region 117 all out in 37 overs (Zain Abbas 54 not out; Nouman Akbar 6-56, Babar Khan 3-38) and 173-3 in 49.4 overs (Imran Rafiq 54, Waqar Hussain 38, Sohaib Maqsood 30 not out, Zain Abbas 27; Nouman Ali 2-22).
