PMDC announces NEB exam schedule
Islamabad:The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has announced the schedule of the National Examination Board (NEB) exanimation for the year 2018.
The announcement made for the first time is meant to facilitate the foreign graduate in order to save their precious time. The NEB examination will be held under the supervision of National University of Medical Sciences.
According to the schedule, the 1st examination of 2018, step II for Medical and Dental graduates will be held on 13th May, 2018 comprising of Clinical Subjects and step III will be on June 30, July 1, July 7 and July 8, 2018 and will be based on OSCE/VIVA exam.
The registration examination (Step-I) for foreign medical graduates was held on April 15, 2018 at Islamabad Pak-China Friendship Centre and Army Medical College Rawalpindi in collaboration with National university of medical Sciences (NUMS) in which 3,128 candidates appeared in the examination from which 1,000 appeared in the exam in Army Medical College and 2128 at Pak China Centre here.
The examination was held successfully. Parents and students expressed their full satisfaction on holding of successful exam and expressed the hope that the PMDC would continue serving the medical graduates.
In order to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination the PMDC Adhoc Council members also visited examination centres. The PMDC expressed satisfaction over the arrangements at the time of visit made by National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) for holding the examination successfully.
The step I of the 2nd phase of NEB Examination for medical dental graduates will be held on November 25, 2018 based on basic subjects. The step II NEB examination will be based on Clinical Subjects and will be held on December 23, 2018.
Simultaneously the step III will be based on OSCE/VIVA and will be held on January 19, 20, 26 & 27, 2019. According to the PM&DC details the Centre of Examination will be communicated through Admit Card for Exam & will also be available at PM&DC website.
