ISLAMABAD: Hearing a case, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar remarked on Friday that since they had adopted the path of Jihad, no resolution could be a hindrance in their way. “We will make decisions as per law, regardless of what people say. We will continue doing what is right,” he said.
Heading a three-member bench to hear an appeal in the case of appointment of an ad hoc employee, the CJP told the additional attorney general, “You (government) do nothing. We take suo motu notices. You say, ‘Charh ja beta soli, ram bhali karega’. Medical colleges were overcharging and we intervened to reduce their fees. Hospitals are not working properly in Balochistan.”
