Pakistan Day celebration

Rawalpindi: Grammar School Rawalpindi’s Chaklala branch, in its ongoing celebrations of seventy years of Pakistan, organised an event for parents and guests to show-case the presentations done at the school in 2018.

Students from the junior and senior sections exhibited and through their presentations expressed that mere sloganeering would not facilitate their beloved homeland. Instead, reflection was required to create opportunities to show authentic love and patriotism by doing practical service for it.

The Principal, Sadaf Shaz Janjua, in her address emphasized that to make the students well-grounded, efforts were made at school to guide them to practice balance and harmony in their lives, according to true Islamic values. Students did presentations on the environment, the global perspective of Pakistan, the national flag and our rich cultural heritage.

Chief guest, Dr. Ali Ehsan, dean, Foundation University, an alumnus of the school, in his address eulogized the services GSR is committed to for facilitating young Pakistanis lives in positive ways. He said he had developed a strong value system based on what the school had passed on to him, and had achieved his successes in his life due to this grounding.
