Raees Mama identified as cops’ killer

Three eyewitnesses have identified a former MQM Korangi sector incharge in the case of three police officials’ murders.
Witnesses told the East judicial magistrate on Monday that Raeesuddin, alias Raees Mama, had murdered officer Ejaz Hussain Shah and two constables in the jurisdiction of Korangi Industrial Area. He was also identified for his involvement in sabotage and terrorism in the Awami Colony police precincts in 2001.
He was brought before the judicial magistrate for an identification parade in the cops’ murder case and other cases of ransacking and terrorism. The magistrate also granted his remand until April 15 in the 2001 case of another policeman’s murder in the jurisdiction of the Industrial.
