Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will launch four-year degree programme of bachelor sciences with physics, mathematics or statistics as a major subject from next semester.
This was stated by AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui while addressing a three-day training workshop on ‘Research Methodology’ here.
The Faculty of Sciences of the University has been advised to immediately start preparatory work for this purpose.
This is a part of the university’s efforts to promote education of science and technology in the country.
