Bilawal to return before April 4: Wattoo
From Our Correspondent
OKARA: Pakistan People’s Party Central Punjab president Manzoor Wattoo Tuesday said the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf had made itself the laughing stock in the country by taking part in the Senate polls from the KP only.
Talking to reporters, he said the PPP supported the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf demand of formation of Judicial Commission. He said Pakistan People’s Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would return to Pakistan before April 4 to attend a public meeting at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. He urged the PTI to come to Parliamentary Reforms Committee to bring in-house change. He said meeting of some people with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Chaudhry Sarwar was a routine matter. He said the PTI must have tried candidates for Senate from other parts of the country. To a question, Pakistan People’s Party Central Punjab president Manzoor Wattoo said that no political personality from Okara was joining the PTI but meetings between political people of different parties were a routine matter.
DSPS, SHOS WARNED: DPO Faisal Rana warned that action against relevant DSPs and SHOs will be taken if any incident of road blocking happened in their areas.
Chairing a meeting of DSPs and SHOs here, the DPO directed his subordinate staff to provide security to the polio teams. He claimed that crime rate had decreased in the district after the arrest of the proclaimed offenders and court absconders.
