The outbreak of dengue in Pakistan proved to be lethal when it became the cause of death of hundreds of people. While the healthcare authorities took relevant steps to counter it, a lot more is needed to be done to completely eradicate this menace from the country.
Like Pakistan, Sri Lanka also had to witness the outbreak of this deadly disease. However, the Sri Lankan government has been able to tackle the disease. Our authorities should follow in the footsteps of the Sri Lankan government to counter dengue virus.
