CHAKWAL: The City police raided two gambling dens and arrested one gambler.
On a tip-off, Sub Inspector Nazar Hayat raided house of Amjad Ali at Moti bazaar where Arslan Amjad and Amjad Ali were gambling on the telephone on a cricket match.
The police arrested Arslan while Amjad Ali fled the scene. The police recovered a LED, a digital cable box, a mobile phone and Rs 2,250 from the scene.
Meanwhile, the city police raided a locality on hospital road where Manzoor and Mansoor were gambling also on the cricket match. The gamblers fled the scene to see the police.
The police recovered a TV, a computer, a DVD and rupees from the scene.
