PESHAWAR: After the approval of the Board of Governors (BoG), Dean Khyber Medical College Prof Dr Noor-ul-Eman issued the promotion orders of four faculty members in their respective specialties as per MTI Act 2015.
The promoted doctors included Dr Amer Azhar, Dr Arif Raza, Dr Hamid Ali Khan and Dr Ubaidur Rahman. Dr Amer Azhar is a nephrologist and was promoted from associate professor to professor in Nephrology Department of Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH). Dr Arif Raza was promoted to the professor rank from an associate professor position in the Otorhinolaryngology Department.
