National Jr athletics trials on 31st

KARACHI: In order to pick athletes for the 3rd South Asian Junior Athletics Championships and 18th Asian Junior Athletics Championships, Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) is going to hold trials at the Jinnah Stadium Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on March 31.

The trials will begin at 8am. For men trials would be conducted in 100m, 200m, 400m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 1000m, long jump, high jump and javelin throw. The trials for women would be held in 100m and 200m.

The 3rd South Asian Junior Athletics Championships would be held in Colombo in May while the 18th Asian Junior Athletics Championships will be staged in Gifu city of Japan in June.
