South Asian Wushu begins today

LAHORE: The 4th South Asian International Wushu Championship will start from March 23 here under the auspices of DCO Lahore at Nishtar Par Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall.
Addressing a press conference here at the venue, DCO Sameer Ahmed informed that six international teams are taking part in the championship which includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iran, Nepal and two Pakistan teams – Greens and Whites with around 120 players showing their skills in various categories.
He further stated that four international teams of Iran, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Pakistan have already reached the city. There are 82 male and 38 female players training here ahead of the championship, which will continue till March 26.
