PTI has failed to honour commitments, says MPA
PESHAWAR: Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ziaullah Afridi has claimed that by winning the election of the chairman and deputy chairman for the Senate, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has bewildered all including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he asked the opposition parties to think about saving their votes instead of criticising the PPP. He said the PTI would face the same fate in future elections.
Ziaullah Afridi, who was elected to the provincial assembly constituency PK-1 on the PTI ticket but later joined the PPP said, the PPP's success and PTI's defeat in election was a writing on the wall.
The MPA said the PTI's government and its chairman Imran Khan had failed to come up to the expectations of people. He said the Ehtesab Commission had also failed to reinvestigate the cases and the so-called champions of change could not fulfil their commitment.
The election of Senate chairman from Balochistan, he added, was the success of PPP and the nomination from the smaller provinces for the upper house would strengthen the federation. Bilawal’s visit to South Waziristan: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Humayun Khan has claimed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's public meeting in South Waziristan on March 24 would change the political situation in southern districts and Bannu division. In a statement, he said that all arrangements for Bilawal's meeting had been finalised. He asked the workers to convey the party's message to all.
