MANSEHRA: The members of Balakot Tehsil Council have opposed the proposed plan to shift survivors of red zone t to New Balakot City.
“I want to make it clear that people of Balakot will never leave red zone even though plots are allotted to them at newly developed Balakot city housing project,” Tehsil Nazim Ibrahim Shah told the council meeting on Friday. He said that allotment letters, which were handed over to the survivor families a day earlier at a ceremony, clearly mentioned that plots were allotted to them against their houses in Balakot. “The plots at New Balakot City housing project is basic right of survivor families and government should clarify why it awarded plots against their houses situated in Balakot,” said Shah.
