3 arrested while collecting ‘donations’ for Daesh

PESHAWAR: A special unit of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on Friday arrested three alleged members of Daesh when they were collecting
donations for their outlawed organisation on the Kohat Road.
An official of the Counter-Terrorism Department said the special unit of the police carried out an action on Kohat Road and arrested Asim Hayat, Kashif and Fazal Subhan.
The official said the three persons were collecting donations for the Islamic State terrorist group, commonly known as Daesh.
An amount of Rs79,000 was also recovered from the arrested persons, said the official, adding, they were affiliated with the Matiullah Afghani group.
