Recreational parks centre of attraction in spring

Islamabad: The visitors are rushing towards the recreational parks these days to enjoy stunning blooming flowers, chirping sounds of birds and lush green walking tracks amid pleasant weather conditions.

The civic authority has turned parks into an entertainment place where the visitors also find restaurants, sitting areas, museums, small zoos and walking tracks. Rose and Jasmine Garden is one of the recreational spots where the visitors are enjoying its beautiful walking tracks, excellent collection of roses, comparatively better maintenance and attractive location in the heart of the federal capital. This park is popular for its annual flower show that is held in the middle of the spring.

Saeed Khan, a visitor, said Rose and Jasmine Garden is a lovely park in Islamabad and a lot of people come here with their families to also have a nice evening out, adding “The park has huge playing grounds where visitors can freely walk among the flowers, kids can play, elders can sit back and relax.” Lake View Park is also another popular destination due to its unending lush green lawns, bright coloured flowers, birds aviary and walking tracks. According to the record, more than five hundred vehicles are often parked daily in the parking areas showing the increasing number of visitors in this recreational facility.
