KARACHI: Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has elected Khalid Mahmood as president and Muhammad Zeeshan Merchant as vice president for the term of 2018/19, a handout said on Thursday.
The announcement said the decision was taken at the 61st Annual General Meeting of the association.
The other office bearers elected for the term 2018/19 are Syed Zafar Ahmed, general secretary, Asim Rizwani Sheikh, joint secretary; and Syed Sibtey Asif Naqvi as librarian.
“Ghulam Rabbani, Imran Amin Virani, Mohammad Imtiazuddin Zubairi, Muhammad Rehan Siddiqui, Muhammad Saleem Siddiqui, Nisar-ul-Haq, Syed Faiq Raza Rizvi and Syed Ejaz Ahmed Jafri have been elected as the members of executive committee of the KTBA,” the announcement added.
