Imran, Zardari doing horse-trading with Balochistan senators
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari are doing horse-trading with Balochistan independent senators-elect.He said: Imran Khan levels baseless allegations against his opponents in order to hide his performance in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The state minister alleged Imran Khan of bringing money from abroad through Hundi process. She was addressing a ceremony organised by a private school here on Saturday.
She said Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who accepts every decision from the court and on the contrary, Imran raises hue and cry over any decision against him. Khan should inform why he submitted fake documents in the apex court, she asked.
Marriyum Aurangzeb stressed the need for promoting tolerance and inculcating values among the students. She said it is national responsibility to make the children productive and useful citizens of the country and this process begins at home. The minister said: “Our students are competing at international level and there is a need to educate our children about our cultural and moral values.”
She said private schools are playing an important role in imparting quality education in line with modern standards. The minister said under the Prime Minister’s Education Reform Scheme reform process was started in schools of federal capital to bridge the gap between the public and private sector education.
Later talking to newsmen Marriyum Aurangzeb said the opponents of PML-N are trying to weaken it but they would not succeed. She said: “The people believe that the PML-N is the only party that delivers on its promises.”
