Give brakes a chance

For the last two or three months, there has not been a single day when road accidents did not occur in Karachi. Most of these accidents were caused due to reckless driving and a flawed system of traffic management. A couple of days ago, a horrific accident took place in Karachi. A young motorcyclist was crushed to death when a speeding car ran over him.

There is no denying the fact that this was not an isolated incident. Countless innocent lives are lost on the city’s roads owing to reckless driving. Reckless drivers pose a threat to commuters. Therefore, it goes without saying that reckless driving is a public safety issue that must be properly addressed.
