Student protests at various education institutions have now become quite common. Violent clashes of student groups have forced many universities to shut down for an indefinite period. These clashes and protest mostly affect students because the academic session is disrupted. It seems that when it comes to anything related to education, the authorities concerned choose to look the other way.
Students should abstain from attacking the sanctity of education institutions. If universities continue to be held hostage by a group of students, we will end up dealing with the irreversible and ugly effects of discipline problems.
