Rs1000 the minimum PSL final ticket price
KARACHI: The prices of the tickets for the Pakistan Super League final to be held at National Stadium here on March 25 will be from Rs1000 to Rs12,000.
Sources at NSK said that tickets would be available only after March 10 because their design and some other important things needed approval from the PCB high-ups. They would be in the city next week, they added.
People are eagerly awaiting the arrival of PCB chairman Najam Sethi as he is the final authority to confirm whether the final would be held in Karachi. There is uncertainty about the final happening in Karachi because the procedure of buying tickets has not yet been made public, while the tickets of the semi-finals have been sold out.
The PCB chairman is expected in the city on March 5 or 6. He will visit the NSK and attend meetings to finalise the preparation for the final. The seating arrangements of high dignitaries have also not been revealed. The chairman boxes A and B lie sealed and the chairman’s guest rooms would not be ready in time. These boxes and rooms accommodate around 150 important personalities.
The sources revealed that dignitaries would be seated in 30 hospitality boxes each of which can have 12 to 15 people. These boxes used to be rented previously. If the final of PSL does take place at NSK it will be a breakthrough as there has been no international match at the stadium since 2009. The Sindh government is providing all out support to organise the event in the city and spending huge funds to make the event at NSK possible.
