Defence of PhD thesis

Islamabad: Muhammad Nouman Aslam Khan of Mathematics Department of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad has completed his PhD degree. He successfuly defended his thesis in the field of mathematical analysis under the supervision of Prof Dr Akbar Azam.

Nouman Aslam Khan in presence of Mathematics Department Chairman Prof Dr Moiz ud Din Khan, Prof Dr Tariq Shah, Prof Dr Sorriya Mehmood, Prof Dr Aftab Khan and Prof Dr Shamsul Qamar, defended his thesis and research works of PhD degree.

PhD degree awarded

Islamabad: International Islamic University (IIU) conferred the coveted PhD degree in English on Dr Ameer Sultan here at the University campus on Monday, says a press release.

Dr Ameer Sultan was declared as Doctor of Philosophy after he successfully defended his thesis titled ‘Narrative Structure of Harry Potter Series’ before a panel of veteran academicians. He conducted is research under the supervision of Prof Dr Muhammad Safeer Awan, dean of Faculty of English Studies, NUML. Prof Dr Nasim Akhtar Raja and Prof Dr Shahbaz Arif were the external examiners. Currently, Dr Ameer Sultan is serving as lecturer in the Department of English, IIU.
