Experts stress need to introduce Robocall system for pollen allergy patients

Islamabad: The experts have underlined the need to introduce Robocall system that can help

the pollen allergy patients to easily access the emergency services especially in the spring.

Azam Khattak, an information technology expert, said the Robocall system is already in use in Pakistan for political and telemarketing campaigns. Many government and private organisations are also using this system for their telemarketing campaigns,” he said.

A Robocall is a phone call that uses a computerised autodialer to deliver a pre-recorded message. Some robocalls use personalised audio messages to simulate an actual personal phone call.

The spring season in the twin cities bring miseries for the pollen allergy patients so any mechanism like Robocall can greatly help them to cope with this situation. He said now there is a need to use Robocall system to help facilitate the patients that otherwise may face difficulties to access the emergency departments in case of need.
