Board meeting of AKFP held

Islamabad: An annual board meeting of the Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) safe drinking water project was informed that the AKFP completed 1096 water schemes across the country during the year 2017.
The meeting was attended by AKFP senior vice president Syed Ehsan Waqas, secretary general Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat, national director safe water progamme Syed Arshad Daud and others.
The meeting was informed that 1096 water schemes include 142 water wells, 175 water pumps, 24 water filtration plants, 587 hand pumps, 38 gravity flow water schemes and 130 other projects. Over 0.7 million population in different localities is benefiting from these schemes.
