Five matches decided on first day
ISLAMABAD: Five matches were decided on the opening day of the Jang Media Cricket League 2018 here at the National Cricket Ground on Monday, says a press release.
Nai Baat, Channel 7, Duniya News, National Savings and Top City won their respective matches. In the first match, Dawn scored 64 runs in the allotted six overs. Nai Baat completed the target in the fifth over.Channel 7 amassed 102 in six overs. In reply, PID scored 99 runs.
Duniya News defeated Geo News by seven wickets while National Savings beat Interflow by 40 runs. In the last match of the day, Top City crushed Express News by 52 runs. The tournament is being organised by Jang Media Group in collaboration with Star Marketing, Top City, National Savings, Brighto Paints, Vertex, Gandhara City, Real Time Marketing, Redsun Associates, Pak Associate, Multiply and Airport Enclave.
