Alleged molester of boy arrested

MANSEHRA: The police on Sunday arrested an accused who had allegedly sexually assaulted a minor boy in Salabat area of Oghi a day earlier.

“We have started raids after medico-legal reports confirmed that the minor boy was sexually assaulted. We arrested the suspect from a hideout near his village,” Anas Khan, the station House officer of Oghi Police Station, told reporters.

He said the victim, 5, who had gone to fields with his grandmother, when he was allegedly molested by Mohammad Usman.The SHO said that the suspect would be produced before local magistrate for physical remand.
