Pakistan-Brazil futsal friendly today
KARACHI: Pakistan’s team for a solitary futsal friendly against Brazil was on Sunday announced here by the Sindh Soccer Futsal Association (SSFA).
The match will be held here at the KPT Stadium at 2:30 pm on Monday (today).Pakistan squad comprises Habib, Mohammad Hassan, Waseem Cheena, Sher Lassi, Mohammad Amin, Junaid Baloch, Faiz Mohammad, Hanzala Ghayyas, Uzair Kara, Sarjad Khan, Sanaullah Khan, Saad Bhatti and Mohammad Faisal.
Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Sports Manager Lt Col Baseer Alam will serve as the manager and Mohammad Tahir as the coach. Most of the players in the squad belong to Karachi. A couple of players hail from Hyderabad. Mohammad Arsalan Sharif will supervise the game.
Brazil will reach here a few hours before the outing from Islamabad on Monday. Brazil had come to Pakistan for a four-nation futsal event held at the Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad. Turkey, Nepal and Pakistan were the other teams of the event which ended on Sunday at the Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad.
Managed by Dagostino Vincenzo, Brazil side includes Wellington Morais, who is the son of Cafu who played 142 matches for Brazil, Jeferson de Oliverira, Che Rafael, Duran, Vinicius Augusto, de Silva, Gilmar, Rodrigues Fabiano, as per information provided by the SSFA.
