Landlord shot dead by dacoits

OKARA: Six bandits shot dead a landlord in a dacoity bid on Wednesday. Six robbers barged in the house of M Ijaz of Azeem Super Market at village 54/2L and started looting the house. The gunmen shot dead Ijaz when he put up resistance. The robbers took away Rs 500,000.

accused remnanded: A juvenile porno accused was produced before the judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday. Police had arrested accused Hafiz Yusuf who at his school at Maroke Kalan village used to assault students and made their movies. He was also an employee of the Lesco. The police had recovered some 40 films from his possession. The ATC Sahiwal had remanded him for 5 days.

Hit to death: A 40-year-old woman died when a train hit her on Wednesday. Sadaqat Bibi of Habibabad was crossing the railway track near general bus stand when the Tezgam Train hit her, leaving her dead instantly.
