Complying with government orders, the media didn’t get involved in any promotions for Valentine’s Day. Our country has been facing so many problems that are far bigger than promoting a day over the airwaves. Instead of dealing with serious issues, we are more concerned about whether a particular day should be celebrated or not.
Our tattered society needs more reason to be happy. So many social problems have already made the environment suffocating. Instead of allowing citizens to live under the blanket of tensions, the relevant authorities should let society have a few moments of love and peace.
