QWP MPA Ibrar Tanoli joins JI
MANSEHRA: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mohammad Ibrar Tanoli joined the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) here on Monday.
“It was the Supreme Court that declared Sirajul Haq as Sadiq and Amin among the entire ruling elite in the country. This is the reason I opted to join the JI,” Tanoli told a public meeting at Gujrain area.
JI provincial head Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, provincial Minister for Local Government Inayatullah Khan and others also spoke on the occasion.Ibrar Tanoli, who was minister for forests, was sacked by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak along with another provincial minister Bakht Baidar Khan of QWP on corruption charges in the early days of his government.
Ibrar Tanoli said that he would strive for strengthening the JI in Hazara region. “I have had the opportunity to work with Sirajul Haq, chief of JI as a minister in provincial cabinet and I found him a pious person, which changed my mind so I am joining the JI,” said Ibrar Tanoli.
Speaking on the occasion, Inayatullah Khan said that people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were joining the JI in droves. “We are hopeful to install our government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after winning the upcoming general election,” he said.
Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that his party was working to bring to an end corruption.“I welcome Ibrar Tanoli to our party as he wants to serve the masses and we have already been doing this through Al-Khidmat Foundation and other charity organisations. It was also learnt that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak had offered Ibrar Tanoli to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but he preferred joining the JI.
