ISF meeting in Birmingham ends

The International Socca Federation’s inaugural meeting concluded in Birmingham on Thursday with 52 representatives from countries all over the world in attendance.

The attendees unanimously lauded the establishment of a global federation for 5, 6, 7 and 8 aside football formats and thanked the Trunkwala family for the initiative and support.Addressing the gathering, Joint CEO of ISF Thanos Papadopoulos said that the aim of the federation was to bring talented, underprivileged masses to the beautiful game and gave the example of Lyari in Pakistan which is called the “Little Brazil”.

The schedule of the first World Cup to be held under ISF in Lisbon, Portugal in October was also approved.It was decided that many international and regional tournaments would also be staged under the federation in 2019, including the European Champions Cup.
