Two-day training programme
LAHORE: Aurat Foundation has launched a new EU programme, “Inspired-Pakistan, Promotion and protection of socio-economic rights of women working in agriculture in Punjab”, with the support of European Partnership for Democracy (EPD).
In this regard, Netherland Institute for Multi-party Democracy (NIMD) in collaboration with European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) and INSPIRED-Pakistan has organised two days, January 22, and 23, “inclusive multi-stakeholder policy dialogue training programme” with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.
The objective of the multi-stakeholder dialogue is to build the capacity of key stakeholders and the INSPIRED- Pakistan team on inclusive and consensus-based dialogue techniques, to make a model for agrarian women, so they can be provided with their fundamental rights, health, working hours, wages and education. The training was attended by parliamentarians including Chairperson, Standing Committee on Gender Mainstreaming, Raheela Khadim Hussain.
