Lack of facilities

Since Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze is situated near the National Highway, it must have a trauma centre. This is because the risk of road accidents is quite high in the area. However, there is no emergency operation theatre (EOT) situated at the casualty department of the hospital. In fact, the hospital doesn’t have sufficient emergency equipment.

The available EOT was converted into a cold storage room many years ago. Many lives are lost due to the absence of an operation theatre. The authorities must look into this issue and order the relevant department to establish a state-of-the-art operation theatre so that the lives of people, especially those injured in road accidents, can be saved.
