Dry spell to continue

LAHORE: Weather remained dry in the city here on Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather condition for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts and its adjoining areas and may persist during next 12 hours. They predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country. However, fog is likely to develop over plain areas of Punjab during morning hours. Rainfall was only recorded at Kalam and Pattan (01 mm each). Met officials said Thursday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam where mercury dropped down to -08C while in Lahore maximum temperature was 21C, minimum was 8.7C and humidity level was 45 per cent.
