Passenger train to run between Pakistan, Iran

Lahore: Officials of Pakistan and Iran railways have decided to run a passenger train after every 15 days between both counties. It was decided in a meeting held between Pakistani and Iranian officials. The train will run from Mashhad and Qom in Iran till Quetta. The train will be run before Muharram. Furthermore, 15 freight trains will also be run between Quetta and Zahedan after demand of traders. Pakistan has offered special relaxation to Iran on freight to Iran to promote trade between both countries. Railways Board Secretary Zubair Shafi Ghauri presided the meeting. Iranian official Majid Arjoni headed the delegation.
