Dry weather predicted
LAHORE: Dry weather was observed with relatively high humidity here Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts and its adjoining areas and may persist during next 12 to 18 hours. They predicted that mainly cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall was recorded at Dir (03mm) and Kalam (01mm). Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Gupis where mercury dropped down to -07°C while in Lahore, maximum temperature was 19°C, minimum was 7.8°C and humidity level was 58 percent.
