MANSEHRA: Three brothers were killed and another sustained injuries when rivals traded fire in Mari Khankhel area of the district here on Tuesday, sources said.
The police sources said Sohail Khan and his brothers, including Qaisar Khan, Rashid Khan and Hamad Khan were busy farming on a disputed piece of land when their cousin Mohammad Amir accompanied by his accomplices reached the spot and allegedly opened fire on them, leaving them injured.
The suspects fled after firing. The locals rushed the injured to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital (Kath) where doctors pronounced the three brothers dead.
The bodies were handed over to family after legal process at the Kath. The officials of the Khaki Police Station started raids to arrest suspects after lodging the first information report.
