Cueist Mudassir records first century break
ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir of Punjab earned the credit of making first century break in the 10th National Junior Under-21 Snooker Championship league round match here at the PSB Billiards and Snooker Hall Tuesday.
Usman Ahmed (Punjab, Group G), Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir (Punjab, Group C), Ahsan Ramzan (Punjab, Group H) and Muhammad Umer Khan (Punjab, Group D) completed the pre-quarter-finals line-up.
Highlight of the last day of league round was the maiden century break by Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir. While playing against Hussain Godil (Sindh), he cracked a break of 108 in the 4th frame. This so far was the highest break of the championship. The previous best was 94 dropped in by Haris Tahir (Punjab) on the first day of the league round.
