Children need attention whether they are at school, home or public places. They need to be protected from physical, sexual and psychological harm. Common symptoms of abuse in children include changes in behaviour such as aggression, anger, hostility or hyperactivity, unusual fears and a sudden loss of self-confidence.
If you detect any such symptoms in your child, don’t ignore. Talk to your child and make them tell you what is bothering them. To protect them from abuse and other social evils, it’s necessary to win the confidence of children and let them come to you whenever they are in need of any kind of help.
