Strategy stressed to protect children
LAHORE: There should be a special mechanism and force to protect children and special classes should be initiated by experts to teach them to protect themselves from heinous assaults so that we could stop the heinous crimes of rape and murder of innocent children.
As the entire nation mourns the kidnapping and brutal raping & murder of 7-year old Zainab of Kasur, Eama John, the chairperson of the Bricks Foundation for the Nation demanded the government to take immediate and concrete steps to protect the lives and honour of the females and kids from psychopaths and paedophilic monsters.
This was said by Eama John while addressing a special memorial service and prayer session for Zainab of Kasur and other little victims of the animalism throughout the country, held on Friday.
Eama John, who has been on the forefront for raising voice and providing educational and vocational support to women, children and marginalised communities, expressed the need to devise an effective strategy by the government for prevention of such heinous incidents which not only bring a black mark on the entire society but has also created a sense of insecurity among the people of the country from Khyber to Karachi.
Eama said that instead of mere lip service all the stakeholders in the government and the society should join hands and make sincere efforts to root out this evil once and for all. The chairperson and the office-bearers of the NGO prayed for innocent victims of such brutal crime against entire humanity, including Zainab of Kasur and demanded the government to find the culprits.
